The house designed by Fran Silvestre Arquitectos is conceived with a pure minimalism in white that also takes advantage of the diffused Mediterranean light.
The building is a contemporary reinterpretation of a characteristic village from the last century in this coastal area on the Castellon beach. An architecture that uses resources such as shaded porches, slightly above the street line, or the synthesis of the trellis that make up the fences.
The house is made up of two volumes that are joined forming one single floor. The dimensions of the porch allow for the control of the direct light in addition to providing the necessary privacy to the main room, while at the same time taking advantage of the view of the garden.
The first room is an open-plan area that combines the kitchen, dining and living room, arranged in line. The staircase that lets us go up to the roof terrace is located at the center, arranged cross-wise. The second part has two bedrooms and a study area between them, and the interiors have been organized with the interior design of Alfaro Hofmann. Flawless interiors and exteriors with material continuity thanks to URBATEK – PORCELANOSA Grupo’s TOWN White porcelain tile.
