Architect Pepa Día designed this house and terrace with an overhanging roof with two basic priorities in mind: its inhabitants and the landscape.
The architect wanted to take full advantage of the whole plot of land as a living space in addition to the climate and light so that the home’s users can enjoy the municipality of Mazarrón’s charming scenery.
The home has two clearly distinguishable areas: one for night-time and another for daytime use. The latter plays a starring role, stretching from the lounge and dining room, through the kitchen to the spacious terrace, outdoor area and swimming pool.
The daytime part of the home features glass walls for an open-plan feel, unifying indoor and outdoor areas. Visual continuity and connectivity have been ensured through the use of big patio doors and the same flooring throughout the whole of the home: AVENUE White by URBATEK – PORCELANOSA Grupo. These through-body porcelain tiles, in different finishes, stand out for their functionality and timeless appeal.
The swimming pool, conceived to act as a prolongation of the terrace, is clad in the same porcelain tiles as the rest of the home, in a Texture finish, so as to guarantee a uniform visual look.
