STUDIO DE CREATIVIDAD

Creativity Studio” entailed the creation of a new concept in cuisine, in a well-known 3-Michelin-star Denia restaurant (Alicante). It was a joint initiative between its creator, chef Quique Dacosta, and PORCELANOSA Grupo.

The focal point of ‘Creativity Studio’ is its absolutely perfect kitchen, designed for the chef by GAMADECOR – PORCELANOSA. Collaborating in the project’s design were Food Design lab and ggarchitects. This logical, functional professional kitchen was planned by making the most of Dacosta’s experience in the restaurant industry and PORCELANOSA Grupo’s experience in the design and manufacture of top-range kitchens.

The central island, folding fronts and ceiling are all made of  KRION® Solid Surface, a compact mineral material, combined with large format cement-effect CONCRETE porcelain floor tiles by URBATEK in the darkest choice of colour to enhance the whole ensemble. In conjunction, all the materials form a magnificent backdrop for the chef’s culinary creations.

An example of keen enthusiasm and attention to detail by PORCELANOSA Grupo and Quique Dacosta, “Creativity Studio” represents another step forward in their shared philosophy. Under the slogan “Dacosta’s landscapes”, functionality and design appeal have been combined in a culinary laboratory all set to ensure one-of-a-kind gastronomic experiences. It is not a question of a table in a kitchen any more, but of eating in the kitchen itself: the epicentre of culinary and research activities.
