BEST WESTERN HOTEL

Less is more, this is the philosophy that has been followed for the remodeling of the Best Western Plus Bologna hotel, located in Venice. Architect Ghezzo Maurizio has been responsible for the development of this project, using some of PORCELANOSA Grupo’s most exclusive materials. This new design reminds us of the origins of the Renaissance, with light, clarity and spaciousness as the main features.

The XLight tile, in several of its formats, has been used for the change that was pursued through this reform, and that seeks to promote a minimalist style. The star materials are: XLight Savage Dark, in its 120×120 cm format, featuring irregular veins and greyish color; the elegant XLight Haven Bone marble, which intertwines beige and cream tones; XLight Kala White in bookmatch, creating a symmetrical composition that produces a mirror effect; and XLight Lush White, which again highlights marble and white.

All of them are present in the bathrooms of the rooms, as wall tiles, giving them a special singularity. Although, in most cases, this has not only been their function, but these materials have also been used to cover the showers, to achieve homogeneity and balance in the rooms. In addition, its natural finish creates a unique feel to the touch, bringing elegance and simplicity to the rooms.

A remodelling that has undoubtedly been inspired by the classic touches of the Renaissance, which predominated, and predominate, in the city of canals.
