Nudos Leisure Club opened its doors to the public in Ciudad Real, offering a wide range of sports activities in facilities that are far from typical. The large-scale sports complex features 9 paddle tennis courts, professional tennis courts, a running track, gymnasium, swimming pools (including an area of over 300m2 for adults), a climbing wall, physiotherapy room, playroom, bowling alley, and multipurpose sports court, among other things.
Using materials by PORCELANOSA Grupo, no expense was spared on this architectural project, with a view to offering users cutting-edge technology in machinery, sports engineering and building systems.
The building work was supervised by well-known architect José Javier Ramirez De Arellano, whose architects’ studio “Arellano Arquitectos S.L” chose XLIGHTslimline tiles for the complex’s ventilated façades (using a visible clip system byButech). More specifically, large-format 300x100x0.35cm porcelain sheets were used.
By opting for this combination of large-format slimline ceramic cladding and Butech’s high performance installation system, the complex’s façades could be completed in record-breaking time.
